Idexx / zom / lex

Idexx / zom / lex IDEXX offers point-of-care diagnostics through multiple systems, with the most notable being the "Catalyst One" platform. The Catalyst One platform currently offers in-office diagnostics of 34 chemistry, electrolyte, and immunoassay profiles. This includes thyroid diagnostics, which would directly compete with the TRUFORMA launch. IDEXX operates globally, and as of Q3 2020 estimates that they are currently meeting ~5% of the global total addressable market for companion animal diagnostics.
LexaGene offers the MiQLab system, which includes rapid point-of-care pathogen detection. While this is a cartridge-based system like TRUFORMA and Catalyst One, it currently focuses on bacterial infection diagnoses and antibiotic resistance markers.
For larger clinics, Siemens offers the Immulite 1000 immunoassay system. This is less focused on point-of-care veterinary applications, but is highly accurate and was used as the baseline against which ZOM verified the TRUFORMA platform.
