Alternate Symbol(s): PEYUF

Peyto Exploration & Development Corp. is a Canadian energy company involved in the development and production of natural gas, oil and natural gas liquids in Alberta's deep basin. The Alberta Deep Basin is a geologic setting situated on the northeastern front of the Rocky Mountain belt in the deepest part of the Alberta sedimentary basin. It acquired Repsol Canada Energy Partnership (Repsol Assets), which included around 23,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of low-decline production and 455,000 net acres of mineral land. The acquisition includes five operated natural gas plants with combined net natural gas processing capacity of around 400 million cubic feet per day, 2,200 kilometers (km) of operated pipelines, and a 12 MW cogeneration power plant. These assets include Edson Gas Plant and the Central Foothills Gas Gathering System. The Company has a total proved plus probable reserves of approximately 7.8 trillion cubic feet equivalent (1.3 billion barrels of oil equivalent).

RE:EXPERTS COMMENTS

RE:EXPERTS COMMENTSI saw the interview. Gee could have corrected whats his face that knows little about the industry half a dozen times. Asked his questions and then cut off the interview as far as I was concerned.

He had a chance to really spout about what is good going on. How things are changing etc. Too bad about the TC decision as it is full of cccppp to not force them to quit messing with summer inventory and pricing. Maybe Peyto has an idea how to get around that or because of the power plant it really won't be a seasonal issue for them anymore. What percentage of Peyto NG will be needed for the power plant?

Have they started construction yet? I tried to find some pics but few out there.<br Like I said TC is not a Canadian entity as far as I am concerned, I think they are doing things in their benefit and the US's benefit.

Maybe Canada should cut exports saying they need the NG for heating just like Texas. I said let them freeze months ago and guess what. Imagine if they only had 20% NG capacity and 80% solar and wind then what? Their whole system would have collapsed.
