NL owns an asset that could potentially be sold to the highest bidder. Sure a company could offer to buy the company for a premium to the current stock price, but I'm sure that would be denied by management.
When Paul says in interviews that they are building a 1B IP portfolio, I take that as him actually saying to potential buyers what his price is. I wonder if he means 1B Cdn or Usd...
