RE:RE:Sinking ship proved Gene COULDN'T promote this stockBayStInvestor wrote: Gene Simmons was not the Captain of the ship. The company used his brand and image to promote the stock which he in a way did. However, one must take into considering Gene knows nothing about this industry to the extent which they assocaited with him. Buying PODA tech was borderline the worst decision the company could have made when they were in a cash crunch. PODA has no product out nor a production facility, their investor relations does not even email back.
It is the management or better put, the lack of management for the delisting of this stock. The only hope for the sharesholders is when it does start trading again on the TSXV exchange is to sell it as tax-loss which could be benefical. For people like myself holding it in a registered account such as a TFSA, perhaps just to hold to see what kind of recovery does come from this.
At the moment, this stock does not trade except for the over-the-counter market. Perhaps, if the volume picks up on the OTC side it could be a sign for postive things ahead.
FYI: mutliple your current shares by 10%, then mulitple that # by what you think this stock can recover to - and that should give you a breakdown on your recovery.
I for one, think of this as a crash course on doing better due dilgenece for us all lol.
Using the boat analogy, Gene was more like the pretty thing that breaks the bottle on the bow before the first voyage. He did it not knowing that the engine was poorly built, but smiled for the cameras.
Better DD is the lesson here. The moment this comes back (if if comes back) to active trading I'm taking the loss and moving on.
