I have a feeling that since we haven't heard anything about the public offering closing yet, that it is going to be well oversubscribed.
I think those investors are also buying up the weakly held shares on the open market, so there's not much resistance when they start to run it up.
It could be that your "too large" of a position is going to be staring down the barrel of $1.00/ share before too long.
