RE:RE:RE:RE:Bad news usually impacts for 3 days (or more)Algonquin might be slightly overvalued, but it is not out whack for the sector by any means. In fact Algonquin and Northland Power are probably the closest you'll get to fair value in the sector. Northland might be a little closer to fair value, but I guess it depends on what metrics you use to determine the valuations.

When it comes to being overvalued for the renewables sector if you said TransAlta Renewables, Boralex, Brookfield Energy Partners, and Innergex were overvalued then I would have to agree. The valuations on those stocks don't make sense to me when compared to AQN and NPI. 

In my opinion Algonquin and Northland are the two most reasonably valued in the sector. Northland has provided better historic returns vs Algonquin, especially the last 12 months. I think either choice is a good choice right now, especially after today's dips.
