The problem I think that has been raised here is the lack of coverage in the US by respectable US based brokers who would not only follow THTX but also promote amonst US clients. This was the main goal of being listed on Nasdaq but unfortunately failed and we paid a heavy price for this failure

The plusses would be they are a solid institution to say is one of your investors -that's a plus. They are credible investors and knowlegable healthcare guys so it lends a bit of street creed there. The other pro might be if they eventually influence a few of their buddies to jump in. There's a bunch of Ali no from Shumway and Paulson around with their own funds and they share good ideas. Will be interesting to see if other new shareholders surface.
It's hard to say if that was Worth the extra 20% dilution we all projected they took on this deal. I doubt any of us would agree it was.

So is this enough to put a shine on the financing turd?

I'm not sure exactly how large as these firms don't have to disclose assets and they usually also have offshore funds for non-US entities and those are totally out of the loop for disclosure. From what little I can see, they have invested in some other innovative oncology names but also in other healthcare areas -- both private and public. So definitely specialists in the healthcare area and with some knowledge on innovative therapies. The full pipeline could be their interest. Perhaps they've met with THTX before or maybe they were a Vertex investor and Leah knew them. Perhaps Dubuc will inform us at some point. But they are quality, not shady, and as such adds a bit of "smart-money" credibility to the story.

Would any of these people be related in any way to our new or existing Board members in terms of relationships on other boards or funds? Just wondering how They learned of us and wanted to buy so much.
