It's not shareholders sole responsibility to take it on the chin in supporting this company.  If they are not willing to increase the dividend... then how about they exercise some dis·ci·pline with their remuneration and bonuses.  I'll take back every word if at the AGM CPG leadership announces a freeze on salary and their willingness to forego their share based compensation for a year. 

Pausing the gifting of options and shares is fair considering that over the last few years it was  funded by taking the dividend from the shareholders under the auspices of a buy back.
