RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bad news usually impacts for 3 days (or more)Hey Bossu

Not that it really matters but our portfolio is actually up 5.4% YTD to today's close. (see below from our Morningstar list of what we own).

My wife & I are dividend income/growth retirees living off dividend income. The biggest thing to us is that we have ample didivdend income to more than cover our expenses. We actually have more than double what we need so the kids have been getting some early inheritance.

Capital appreciation doesn't really matter other than it feels good and the kids get a big inheritance.   :-)

Ciao

bossu wrote: Too bad for you Sarge but it's hurting to see almost all the Companies you have been mentionning  are loosing steam.Good divivend ''payers ''and all of them have sustainable cash flow.
All of them are a good choice but the way they have been performing was too much too fast.
So the actual correction was inevitable.
As far as I'm concerned I 'm invested ou was in the kind of invesment you were talking about.
Plenty of ALA ,trimming 50% of  IPL some Fortis ,playing witk KEY ,plenty of Chartwell and Extendicare .A few oil and gas producers...a bit of gold .

I have plenty of time to observe the situation at RIPET and try to inform the bullboard followers with numbers on the operation .Ferdale look promising and the whole liquid propane exportation should be as much as the announced numbers by Randy an most probably 80 000 bar/day in 2021
We should have a good overview of the situation at the next CC Friday.

As you say ''Take care Sarge and your wife''
