This Quarters Earnings ARE very nice indeed.

This Quarters Earnings ARE very nice indeed.I was not imprssed by last qusarters results but this quarter they have made some great gains. Loan and deposit growth are two standout items, they still have a long ways to go on the deposit side since they not funding their loan book internally, but they do now seem to have deposit growth on a good track. Efficiency ratio slipped a bit but still in a very good range and competitive. Return on euqity is still on the weak end of the spectrum but it is improving. The P/E ratio is high, especially for a bank of this size, given the fact they have not grown a great amount over the past 5 years. Loans have gone from 22 to 30 billion and deposits from 21 to 27 billion. Given the amount of activity in the Canadian market they should be growing a whole bunch faster than this..
