Bond trading is not a wise financial decision either and here's why.

If you buy bonds when interest rates are low, and then the yield rate goes up, you're actually losing money if you sell them before maturity as the Face Value goes down.

Conversely, when bond yields go down, the Face Value goes up.

At the end of the day, when fundamentals work strongly in Gold's favour, including excessive public debt levels, too much monetary supply, inflation threats, economic uncertainty, and geopolitical threats like the lingering COVID-19 pandemic, you expect Gold futures to go up, not head down.

As for Bitcoin, that doesn't make sense either as they are harmful to the environment and too volatile.  Tesla and Elon Musk learned that the hard way.
