Re: RIV transition. Roinhooded on QTrade. Buy but not sell

Re: RIV transition. Roinhooded on QTrade. Buy but not sell
So RIV was pushed down about 40 cents while Q-trade was "waiting for the new stocks", and I could buy, but not sell ("Robinhooded"), watching the price decend so Monday RIV stock could be picked up maybe below $2.99. Was forced to call for a trader, who then told me that I might be "short" if I dumped today as the new stocks were coming in at the "new price" on a one-for-one basis and might be higher. Who cares that I received a few thousand shares on a new ticker today. Would have sold and possibly bought up at the lower price on Monday, but was totally prevented. Took screenshots of trying to sell by pressing "sell" on the stock in portfolio with no ticker name coming up ("Symbol is required") and then  having the "not enough stock" notice jump up when I would add the ticker name to the trade screen.
I checked if I could trade at all, and found that a "buy" for a few shares actually worked.
So this means that on Monday when the "new shares come in", some get to buy up the new shares at the minus 40 cent price on Monday, but not me and my fellow shareholders... Lawsuits are made of this garbage, transitional or otherwise. This is the "normal" that "Gamestockers" resent (and have likely been exploited by a registered trader posing as a neophyte), and discourages all but the "professional/insiders" from benefiting or even investing at all. It even worse than "speculation" when you can't participate in the trading and risk being "shorted" to boot...
