The Detour Lake operation is located in northeastern Ontario, over 300 km northeast of Timmins and 185 km by road northeast of Cochrane, within the northernmost Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The Fosterville mine is a high-grade, low-cost underground gold mine, located 20 km from the city of Bendigo.

RE:RE:AEM is going into capex spending mode as gold pulls backthere is growing opposition to agnico eagle due to water discharges in nunavut.

based on what happened to baffinland recently, i think the "premium" valuation of agnico eagle will continue to dissipate as the ESG risks grow.

just my 3 cents.
