Africa Oil Corp. is a Canadian oil and gas company with producing and development assets in deepwater Nigeria, an interest in the Venus light oil and associated gas discovery, offshore Namibia, and an exploration/appraisal portfolio in west and south of Africa. Difficult to predict what the new finance will look like, other than the obvious of lower rate and longer term since we don't yet know the broader objective.  If they have located a producing asset target  it is possible that they wrap these two things together. I doexpect they will follow through on a dividend, and likely later this year as you suggest, but the amount will depend on this other acquisition, assuming they find one.

Personally, I would not want to see a reverse split.  The stock trades in a number of overseas markets where low unit prices are more normal, and I think price volatility is more in our favor at this level.  Very little interest in the industry now, especially small caps, but I think the stock should be at least $3 right now, and a repeat performance, dividend and acqusition will get us there or better without the split.
