I have been through 8, 9 or 10 over the past 3 - 4 years. Enough that I lost count and none can be placed in the win column. 1 for 300 was bad, 1 for 140 turned out to be the worst, 1 for 10 was the most common and I think 1 for 4 was the least destruction of share count. All gave me the same song and dance, you have fewer shares but the values the same. Right, until it's not.

If they consolidate without a blockbuster deal in the offing the share price is almost sure to go down. Even if they immediately go to the Nasdaq it will likely do the same if no deals. I have had 2 go to Nasdaq immediately - they have increased in price but nowhere near the preconsolidation. One took a full year to make the move and the price is still depressed.

Good timing is everything.
