what happens ex div date??

what happens ex div date??..unfortunately, you do tend to have a sell-off ex div date and in alot of cases its even higher than the div paid out (case in point with special/one time payouts) . Earnings for the year were north of 60 cents but also notice that Q4 , while excellent compared to 2019 Q4 did drop off from Q3's results by 50% ( 33 to 16 cents). Remember, TBL also has to restock at higher prices so its not just up up and up. Final thought - haven't looked at their annual report -previous poster mentioned another 5 mill shares being bought up (usually this means for cancellation) -the majority owner already controls 70% + of the float so it continues this creeping takeover on the cheap..interesting. dwdc
