@massawippi I do not think there is reason to panic.Had a communication with Jeff. He seems very enthusiast about the the two holes that were drilled. The core was sent to the lab.

@massawippi Barrick is still drilling. Regarding the pause for drilling. It seems to be minor, but a faction of stakeholders is concerned. and this from Jeff:...We believe the situation is manageable and are getting good support from federal and local governments and decision makers. As stated in the release, we have all the permits and authorizations required to conduct the work....It is only a matter of avoiding any misunderstanding from these people. Better take a pause, talk to the right people and avoid bad vibes.

@HRA-Coffin I'll have some comments if I ever get this SD finished (dealing with some family stuff with a deadline) but, from the sounds of things the protesters are not "locals" and probably are not environmentalists either. Sounds like they are members of the former president's party that are against mining just because the current president is for mining. Jeff told me they have signoffs from all the actual landowners and are getting support from the government. They hit pause to try and help cool things off. Same guys have been hassling Barrick, apparently. Feb 26th

Also starting Feb 1st the shorts have gone up by a resounding 120,000 shares. What a 120,000 shares someone is shorting 120,000 shares. What a chance taker.
