So we know the new round of options will be for less than $0.73. The new option plan that was approved last year has a cap of 10% of the shares outstanding so around 24 million option shares available less outstanding options. So in effect they can recycle expirations into new options.
Does anyone have knowledge of how many options can be granted under the new plan in any one year? Are they restricted to some percentage of the total or could they top up in one event to 24 million options outstanding?
Let's hope they get this done soon so the share price can reflect true value rather than a number engineered to the desired option price. My guess is options at $0.65 but not sure how many. If around 8 million options now outstanding could they conceivably issue 16 million at $0.65 each now?
I certainly don't expect 16 M options
For the past three years they have been averaging about 2M in options granted per year.
I expect that for 2021, that number might be closer to 3M...(two new biggies to look after)
Interesting idea that they might recyle expired options into newer ones at a lower price...we will see...
...but I don't seeing them becoming ultra liberal and dilutive. Don't think it's their style.
