What Became of the Crow?

What Became of the Crow?@Goldfinger When I first saw the caption to Bob Moriarty's new book "What Become Of the Crow? Inside The Greatest Gold Discovery In History", I thought to myself that Mr. Moriarty was embellishing things a bit. However, upon reading the book I am thoroughly impressed by the depth of its contents and the real story of Novo Resources from a penny junior that had to scrounge around to raise a few million bucks at inception, to a billion dollar market cap producer. In junior mining lots of people talk about producing gold, but very few actually do, they are usually much better at producing more shares. Quinton Hennigh and the Novo team deserve some recognition for achieving what the vast majority of companies in this sector do not. Moriarty's book is a story that takes place across three decades and begins with Bre-X in the 1990s. He delivers an entertaining narrative in a voice that could only be his own, including sentences like "more nervous than a long tailed cat in a room full of old grannies in rocking chairs". The Kirkland Lake/Newmarket Gold story is worth the price of admission alone. One of the key themes of the What Became of the Crow story is a gold rush makes men lose their senses, and often their integrity too. A fantastic read, one of the very best, up there with the Voisey's Bay story "The Big Score". https://energyandgold.com/2021/03/03/bob-moriarty-inside-the-greatest-gold-discovery-in-history/ $ELO $KL $NVO
