Obviously a lot of things have to go "right" before we get to 15 bucks per share but there are signs that demand growth/rebound will be more robust than first reported.
This morning the Indian energy minister is asking OPEC to raise production for fear of rising energy prices in his country. It's just one example of the optimism surrounding the oil industry that is welcome relief from 7 years of complete gloom and doom.
That optimism may spur a lot of M&A activity in the patch and that will be a chance for CVE to dump non core assets and get their balance sheet in better balance.
Of couse no guarantees but I see 12 bucks per share as a relatively easy target within the next 18 months and the way that cash has piled up in so many countries I can see investors buying hard assets with that cash that could lead to a 15 buck price. USA cash on the sidelines is up 1.5 Trillion since the pandemic hit.
