Diamond hands is an amusing neologism from the GME short squeeze from WallStreetBets. Basically the idea is that you hold on to a stock and don't sell it no matter what, because you believe in it so passionately. It also has connotations of hanging together with other people and working with them and refusing to sell as a group, collectively, in order to succeed. I have advocated for that in the case of BHS, at least with respect to those of us who have extremely large positions; that the "whales" should not profit-take or dump enormous quantities of shares on the new share-holders and therefore crash the price or kill sentiment, but simply keep holding firm no matter what. I'd also love to get a short squeeze going on the miscreants who are shorting this stock.
