RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:ThoughtsWow what rock did you crawl out from under , trust you don’t have a computer or cellphone as they contain cobalt. Advances in mining technology can address your concerns yet you will see battery tech is evolving rapidly where cobalt is no longer used. I ran the largest waste oil recycling facility in Canada you have no idea how dirty oil is to the environment. And as I said my electricity is hydro generated. So you proved my point the oil and gas guys response is weak blaming mining of materials for batteries and the irony coal powered electricity. Do they not mine platnium and palladium for your spark plugs, catalytic converters and brake rotors etc . And what about your annually changed spark plugs air filters and oil filters etc etc do you even know how much electricity is generated from coal to manufacture all this replacement components that are thrown out after one use . And I haven’t even touched on the antifreeze and coolant and all the rubber hoses that wear out. Then there is the cost to move all the oil antifreeze , filters , spark plugs. One day you would become enlightened , yes we got to this point based on our hydrocarbon economy however it is no longer sustainable.
