RE:RE:RE:With Ird performing well it’s time to up the dividendA dividend increase probably WOULD help the stock price short-term but that's only because investors typically associate dividend increases with strengthening operations. But if a dividend increase is done just for the sake of a dividend increase--without improving operations--then it's more of an admission on the part of the company that it can't find better uses for its cash than paying more dividends. If that were the case here then you'd have to ask why the company hired Paul Hill.

A dividend increase would be a nickel-and-dime thing to do (literally, I suppose) in comparison to what the company is working on.

Have a little faith. If you really want some extra cash then sell a dividend-sized portion of your shares.
