RE:RE:The Prize is Huge
The minority might have a remedy under the oppression protections in Canadian company law, but long, expensive and uncertain outcome.  And probably most important, Rio is likely to make a bid to take out the TRQ minority in any event, once an OT structure for Mongolia’s interests has been renegotiated.  And that might happen soon in the timeline - as in Rio is on record saying they want a new agreement in place by May or they will not start the undercutting of the first panel of the block cave at Hugo North.

I’m with you on aging ... it has been a long time.  The only silver lining in the OT roller coaster for me was the number of times both IVN/TRQ and ETG put in some pretty obvious tops and bottoms to let trading improve my cost base and build a bigger position - and how they sometimes moved in opposite directions allowing movement between them.

But now we wait for the last top - the one where we get paid out?  On TRQ I might expect Rio paper ... ETG maybe TRQ paper or cash.  Can’t really figure which comes first, but personal belief is both will go, OT will become a purely Rio-Mongolia venture, ever since they entered the picture I figure that was always the preordained result.
