RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:WashtradingWow BlueChipper2020 what the heck do you think we were all saying but exactly that along with the market jitters but to see shorters and flippers piling on to add to the carnage. What are you talking about when you say you think you can guess why the uptick rule is left in Canada? No the uptick rule was removed sometime in or about 2003 which opened the door to the vermin Hedge funds with their massive money to have continuous shorts backed by penny flipping as insurance to make their shorts work ( in my opinion only ) in countless venture stocks.

Gentlemen gentlemen,
First of all, you have to look at the macro world and realize SIC is not the only stock in universe. Take a look at the entire broad market the past week?
Second of all, I could care less if SIC was trading at $.18 or $.25 today. Makes no difference to me. Short sellers do not take anything away from me. There will be a time to start unloading my position which is in the green anyway.
I think I can guess why the uptick rule is left in Canada. The venture market can be so illiquid and huge bubbles can easily be created hurting investors in entirely different ways. Short sellers are a threat to penny flippers who are long or very nervous investors who do not understand the risk/reward calculation. That calculation is good here. If this stock was inflated to over $.50 based on what we know today, then that calculation is not so good.
