BONANZA + JOHNSTON + SKEAD - WEST OF SCADDINGPerformed a few more searches...
Found some interesting details on nearby tenures.
BONANAZA SHOWING - Approx 10 km from Scadding -
Bonanza has a 1800 ft long x 60 ft wide
vein at surface.
Country rock = Diabase
Possibly faulted contact zone
Fissured type
Massive Silica oxide - quartz 50+ %
Breccia
Gabbro
Contact wall zones on either side of massive vein = gabbro + brecciated quartite
One showing of gold ... not much talked about - if irecall - 4g/t sample grade.
Falconbridge drilled two holes thrugh the veining - nothing much found.
= very similar ores to Scad ( breccia + silica/quartz )
= could this massive 1800 ft x 60 ft wide fissure flowed into Scad ?
= fissure opens up = creating fractured gabbro + brecciated splinters
= carried into Scad surfically - ?

1923 6ft x7 ft shaft dug down to 51 ft.

= same as Scadding Johnston showing als odisplayed a SODA showing 80 m square.
salt carbonates = might have contributed to chewing apart the Scad Irons formation.
A distinct trend from Bonanza to Johnston to Scadding all 3 have same -silica quartz, gabbro, brecciated fragmented angular ores. all 3 are on same west t oeast path linage. 51 FT SHAFT - GOLD RESULTS ( Johnston Road showing )
15 meters down hole at bottom - picked samples fetched
= $18.10 and $ 116.00 dollars
1923 Gold sold for - $20.67/oz
I see a distinct resemblence to Scad shallow gold + high grade RECAP ... The Bonanza 1800 ft x 60 ft vein walls, were of, gabbro + breccia
= could verywell be coincident indeed = related to Scad showing..
If a massive fracture happens and the earth opens up
= lots of fractured shrapnel of angular rocks would spew in a hydrothermal flow.
Or... watershed would move these shrapnels a good distance -but not so far
as to round the endges of the fragmented rock -
Scad has the angular rocks - still sharp edged. HERE'S ANOTHER MAP OF AREA WRAP IT UP ? Lake Wanipetei is directly above the Bonanza showing.
If this region had a water shed movement - it might support how the fragmented angular
rocks from the massive vein sidewalls transported to - Scadding.
Definitely a trend - same lithologies across 3 different named zones.
Each with same lithologies.
Each shgowing gold.
Question - just how far reaching could an 1800 ft long x 60 ft wide vein spew its hydrofluids ?
How about with the assitence of a lake or watershed ?
What sort of caustic solution wasin these hydrofluids - enough to chew apart iron ?
Or, was there an easterly alkai influence that wore down the Scadirons ?
Why do i say wore down ? All because the drill cores don't show a distinct brown oxide iron - only a few.
Almost seems there was a iron disemination fall out
Add in... the Johnston soda showing - caustic acidic carbonates + water
= you now have a solution to dissolve irons.
= other carbonate and chlorites come into play... to chew apart the iron.
= fall out of iron ore disseminates into - carbon and chlorites + silica quartz.
= salts reract with iron - creating - black hematite or tourmaline or even carbon black.
= add in the potential influence from Bonanza - breccia, gabbro, angular fragments
= Scad now has a topical blanket of - mixed matrixies with iron chlorites + black ores
= and more distinct - iron formation further beneith
= if gold is not found at depth... and only found near surface
= could point to - Bonanza spewed all its gold andwater carried it into Johnston and Scad.
= leaving the Bonanza vein filled with quartz...
ALWYN MINE - NORTH OF SCADDING - Not real showing of gold... little copper.
All minerals are oxides.
EAST OF SCADDING - Weak gold showing.
Moreso copper, cobalt, etc....
GREATEST SIGNS OF GOLD ? Seems to support everything from Scad going westerly + southerly.
There are other larger mines like the Skead, known for gold, also nearby, near Bonanza.
WANAPATEI LAKE - Is massive.
Ports southerly.
Bonanza lake and little Bonanza lake most likely were connected.
I'd even go as fasr as saying... Wanapatei and Ashagami lake were once connected.
Scad is on a south westerly lineage from Bonanza... ( google maps )
While other older maps - oh my god - show Bonanza and Scad almost inline going westerly.
Google Map - supports a south westerly - breccia, gabbro, silixa quartz flow inot Scad.
HARDEST THING ABOUT THIS AREA - SURVEYING THE AREA - irons impede the visuals - to know whats below grade.
Thankfully, theres a distinct topical coating... if i may say ( gabbro, breccia, silica quartz)
I would think... if one stuck to searching only... - fragmented breccia ( topical )
- fragmented gabbro ( topical )
- silica quartz ( topical )
= could find the gold far quicker
= pay more attention to the SOUTH + WEST of Scadding.
= to the east the lithologies become very intertwined - very complex = out of gold zone.
= its ok to explore in the tree zone - not just open fields near roads... ( pun )
= if there's no gold below the Scad iron formation = points to all topical = outside influence
= if gold is mixed with - gabbro, silica quartz, breccia = points to Bonanza massive veining
with shapnel from its walls -
= the rich gold on Johnston was found at the near same depth as, Scad = 15.5 m down hole.
= stick to 50m holes... far more area could be coveredseeking the shallow gold..
= drills sunk around Scad going westerly - many were on an acute asmuth
= too accute = by the time it hit the west side of Scad the drill are too deep ot detect
sufical gold.
= shallow holes west of scad would be more appropriate - directional towards Johnston.
= Joghnston only seen a 51 ft hole...al lothers werevery shallow digs
= the shallow digs on Johnston - were no where near the 51 ft deep
= Johnston is truly underexplored - could be the gold is blanketed at 51 foot depth / 15 m .
= Skead tenures encompassthe former Bonanza... in a Skead report - it goes on to say...
beyond Bonanza or now Skead, a distinct iron formation begins.
= Which zeros in all the more on Bonanza's massive fault or fissure vein as most probable
culprit causing the gabbro + breccia angular shrapnels...
= could the salts have chewed apart the Scad irons ?
If one drilled to the west of each - red resistivity - would the gold have dropped out due to
caustic salt acids ?

Red anomalies - most likely iron.
But... does one dril lthe red ?
Or... dismiss the red iron, and place one's mind in the frame of, surfical gold ?
If Johnston showed gold at 15.5 m down - that tells me its topicasl gold
Johnstons gold was in - silica quartz. breccia, gabbro... no irons.
I moreso beleive the iron formation at scadding - acted as resistent barrier.
Blocking or trapping the gold that came in from the west or north west.,...
Which points, to...whole new theory - tap a few holes west of Scad 30m deep to test
the Bonanza occurence - and see if gabbro and breccia and gold are the key ores to the gold.
What maybe throwing the wrench in the motor is...
The irons that diseminated picked up the gold from the incoming gabbro, breccia.
Place the iron notion off to the side... run with the gabbro, breccia, silica quartz...
Bonanza and Johnston tenures support gold being in these matrixes.
Here's the map supporting gold findings west of red anomalies - and at tip of red anomalies.
= incomming silicas and breccias, gabbros... from the Boanaza zone -
= red anomalies acted as blockage /stoppage zones...
= gold would be near wrapped around hte red zones - westerly and north tips.
= same degrees as the north west - Bonanza falut blow out.
