Part II : " ....the source of the Keno Hill deposits "
I think this is one of the reasons why investors like Sprott and institutions came in. We have a combination of advanced stage projects
on the known producing trends-much like the Bermingham discovery- and we've got these large-scale, early stage targets on the east. 30:00
Initial drilling.Really only tested the Fox anomoly.Couple of holes in Kim Creek and Cobalt area. This area was underexplored.
There wasn't any drilling in this area prior to our work.Testing a couple of these multi-kilometre scale targetsto start with.
Initial drilling effectively confirmed we are seeing an extension of over ten kilometres east of the Keno Hill mine.
This opens up this entire area - more or less doubling the size of the Keno district, where we're hitting high-grade classic Keno style veins but in addition we're
hitting bulk-tonnage type systems which have never been seen in the Keno district before.
26 of 30 drill holes hit-100m deep-to get that kind of success-on an early reconnasince program is really encouraging and we definitely will be following that up
in our next work.Part of the signatures we're seeing on the east are suggesting classic Keno type systems but also the potential for large-scale
bulk-tonnage systems.31:00
Comparitive silver model-the big one-is Penasquito.Newmont.Over a billion oz of silver.Open-pittable systems. Both high grade veins and structures but also bulk tonnage
areas-breccia zones and intense zones of structure that allow them to be bulk tonnage mineable. They are closely associated with a proximal intrusion below them. 31:40
In other words, geologically, the metals had to come from somewhere and in the case of these large bulk tonnage deposits they are coming from these porphyry systems at depth
and those are feeding the metals and the structures above them.Because of the geometers of these systems they have the potential to make very large deposits. 32:30
Keno East common features to Penasquito: Very large scale soil features-much larger than on the west.Intense magnetic low signature which would be a hallmark of a buried
intrusion . We see breccia zones and structural corridors that suggests we've got the potential for bulk tonnage mineralization which is not typical of a classic Keno
high grade system.Put all these things together-scale and these occurances - and it really looks like we might be looking at perhaps even the source of the Keno Hill
deposits here on the east.33:00
