My Deep Dive on PlaygonI've been invested in DEAL for a year and this is why: 1. Playgon offers iGaming technology for mobile interactive HD streaming of casino table games (Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, and others) live from their broadcast studio in Las Vegas. This is a highly scalable global technology business that can generate revenue 24/7. 2. Playgon have perhaps the most advanced mobile iGaming platform in their segment. As part of an aggressive on-boarding program I'm looking for upcoming catalysts for growth through operator integrations in 2021 that will create significant brand recognition with every announcement....and new recurring revenue streams. 3. The segement leader is Evolution Gaming with a €12.35B market cap, 13 billion bets/quarter and their code was written for desktop in 2006 – it is now mobile-enabled. I'd encourage anyone to do their own due diligence in comparing the platforms....I believe that DEAL is head-and-shoulders the leader on tech. 4. Playgon could be as disruptive as Canopy Growth was in the cannabis space four years ago. This market is controlled by a handful of companies. Here are the main players in the Live Dealer iGaming market: - Evolution Gaming Group AB ($76.24 USD) Market Cap €12.35B - Playtech PLC ($4.71 USD) Market Cap $1.3B - Microgaming (private) Please forgive that these stock quotes are as of November 11, 2020 - my last deep dive....the numbers are probably even better today. 5. The heavy lifting/investment in the technology platform has already been done – $16M has been invested to build a fully operational/designed-for-mobile platform currently being demonstrated around the world using the Las Vegas studio. 6. The principles of the company know what they’re doing - Darcy (CEO) and Guido (President) have founded or led iGaming companies such as Chartwell Technology and Amaya Gaming Group – they’ve developed digital gaming platforms launched in Canada, Asia, and Europe. They're the real deal...pun intended. Playgon has little debt ($500K short term and $1.3M long term the last time I checked), reporting insiders own 35% of outstanding shares and you could potentially increase that much higher considering friends and family of insiders, which might explain the tight trading ranges of the stock. Those are my reasons for investing....I was in Canopy at various stages - $2, $4, $8....all the way up to $65. I see Playgon as being a similar vehicle to build wealth....as long as they don't get bought out too early. Cheers I hope this is useful.
