Just WonderingClearly there is a wide range of investors following dynaCERT on this and other websites.
Some have been involved for many years and others are relatively new .
Of course, some have fairly large holdings (a few million+) , some are just dipping their toes and most likely exist in a wide range between those extremes.
It would be interesting if a reasonably accurate measure could be created to determine where investor current assessments of the company actually sit regardless of their investment amount and initial reasons for taking/building a position.
For example:
What if a half dozen or so categories of views are set:
- Great Company 1(Weak) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10(Strong)
- Competent Management 1(Weak) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10(Strong)
- Confident of near term success 1(Weak) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10(Strong)
- Have seen growth in past 5 years 1(Weak) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10(Strong)
- Proven Product 1(Weak) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10(Strong)
- Theoretically excellent product 1(Weak) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10(Strong)
- Believe Public Statements 1(Weak) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10(Strong)
No doubt more or better assessment categories could be defined and all are encouraged to establish any they believe would be more useful or relevant.
Disclosure:
I was, but no longer am, a fairly significant investo .
Because I believe in the theory of the products and their potential for contribution to our environment I continue to watch the stock and follow news/bulletin boards from time to time.
“If” I were still an investor my ranking for the foregoing categories would be:
1 in all areas except 6.) where I would likely settle in around 7. to 8.
