RE:RE:RE:Are there benefits in using EV’s?hey sarge, i drove beetles in high school and university and i've seriously looked at restored microbuses but i remember how the beetles struggled on hills. the electric microbus looks awesome in the vw videos and new electric one would breeze up hills as well as being way cheaper than a restored classic.
i just put a new drive train in my old kona lava dome.

Too funny. We had a 1984 Westfalia that we bought in 1985 and had for 25 years. Took the family on many holidays to places like Oregon/N Cal coast, Utah/Grand Canyon, Yukon/Alaska, etc.We did a 3 week camping trip every year until the kids got into Grade 11. Slept all four of us comfortably along with our 4 mountain bikes.
It was a BLAST!!
Now that the kids are gone, we have a 4x4 truck and pop-up camper (which is also very cool and with the 4 wheel drive, gets us into some great random cmaping spots.
Take her easy
