RE:RE:WE COULD USEI agree, someone is trying to keep the price depressed. Anything less than 500 shares trade however is termed "NBDLT"...."non board lot" and does not affect the current bid price. So as I understand it if the BID is at $0.59 and someone sells 8 shares at $0.57 the bid price still remains at $0.59. The market cap is not affected. These small trades are usually brokerage house cleaning up their order books from traders who trade ODD number of shares throught the day. That's how it was explained to me by a trader one day as I had the same comments as you.
