THE HURON INTRUSION - GOLD DROP OUT Here's a suprb example of Lake Huron was once larger -
far larger than what it is now.- encompassing beyond sudbury. and beyond.
even as much as, involving the ottawa and st lawrence.
Follow the distinct formation line from -
spragge, spanish, massey, espanola, nairin,
onaping falls, val therse, Wanapitei lake, river valley
= highly suspect = former Huron shoreline.
If this was ever proved - based on sodics ( salts ) carbonates limes
even uranium near scad then....
it would mean
=WanapiteiLake - was once a small bay for a much larger - Huron.
Now.. focus on the lower portion of south east bay Wanapitei,
there seems ot be a watershed path - influx of waters - whereas, wanapitei may have
been also a feeder watershed into - huron.
Sodic + lime waters would certainly errode the iron ores in this area.
Ir would create seondary deposits with a reconsolodated - heinz 57 assembalge.
Salt chlorites would show = which they do.
Now.... if Huron did invade this larger perimeter - especially wanipitei,
it would also create wave errosion.
It would also cvreate pockets/deposits of, sodic or limes, even lime bedding.
Gold would drop out and reconsolodate in a new matrixies.
Gold in a saltchlorite / lime with diseminated irons, and quartz sand crystals.
The quartz seen in bmk's pics - elude to the - sand quartz .. ( granular size )
The main premise i'm trying to convey is...
Looking at scad area with the mindset of, liberated gold redistributing in reconsolodated
forem... Looking for zones where the gold was liberated but moreso, pocketing.
If there is lots of signs of gold found on north or west sides of the iron mounds, then,,,
where else could the gold deposit = most likely - in dips and valleys that show sodic or alkai
resistivities on a survey map. Adjacent to the scad,,, is a huge anaomaly zone, its also referred ot the uranium zone... uranium is a salt.
I would think - focusing on mounds and the adverse affects of what sodics and limes would do, and looking for gold inwhicvh would liberate and resettle would be most productive.
i can even see a shasmffered shoreline north end of, Wanapitei.
= wave errosion.
Google map - follow the names above..
a clear decisive outline can be seen that just might support a former huron lake boundary.
If ever it rang true... then, it would give a whole new meaning on how to seek out the gold around scad.
Bssed on the google map -
A swath from bonanza to scad = width = target zone.
even further south of, powerline and all the way up past the north east bay of wanapitei.
a true north south path....not a north east path as bmk always thought.
Gold was mostly found on the north tips of north west sides around scad.
This could provide insight to direction/path inwhich the gold came from.
Gold could still be in the swaths of high signal alakis such as immediately adjacent ot scadwest side - in a lime bed - or, around the sides of the iron red anomalies, but not on the south side - not unless a path or gap large enough is between the iron mounds allowing
salt waters ot carry the gold - tuck it up against trhe next resistent point.
As per Sudbury = it's considered a basin.
Theoryof larger lake huron = woulf fit like a glove.
Sudbur's core - was simply exposed down to iron bedrock - by salt waters.

Done.. researching the - Scad.
I like what i've researched.
To each their own.
Cheers....
