RE:Back to the rock pile - and goldFrankly, I woke up this morning the most cautious I have ever been the last 12 months.
A few things, I have lived through the following;
911, Tech bubble, Financial crisis, and of course covid (and all those little scares too).
- Financial planners/advisors are reporting their most conservative clients are piling into risk assets.
- High percentage of recipients for the hand out cheques will be spent on stocks....thats coming from boomers to young bucks
- options trading was actually bearish yesterday, considering the run up in tech
- volumes are declining
- avg. joe investor survey - are more bullinsh today than a year ago...LOL the easy money was made already.
- volatility galore and even the "TA" is screeming 5-10% correction in markets...its already started on some sectors
Im a long term investor, but the greed I am seeing is scary. Taking profits on everything this week. Dont care if I lose out on 30% upside. I think we need to correct/consolidate a bit before we move higher. I bought most at March/Arpril lows and accumuated KL with dividends and realized gains.
GL, dont be greedy out there =)
