I think you got your numbers wrong or mixed up! Snowbirds ie those that spend most or a good part of the winter in the US south average about 900k from Canada. Of that between 300-350k went south this winter the balance have stayed home. Relatives cannot deliver cars as it is illegal to cross the boarder. That said, some of the wealthier ones have had their cars shipped across the border. In fact some have shipped their cars to Buffalo or Detroit then flown to Buffalo or Detroit and drove down! At anyrate! Last winter the mass movement of March break and the return of the snow birds caused much of the first spike.
