RE:RE:RE:RE:BYEI am in no way an expert, not am I a financial or business advisor, but here's my take:
Maybe Apple should just buy WiLAN from Quarterhill, since:
1) Management seems to be focused on ITS space acquisition... sensors, iot, etc ... which is a growing market and with electric truck transport and selfdriving, ITS has huge potential... you can control electric trucks to the fraction of a Km/Mile, all automated... they need the money and this is the perfect M&A opportunity...
2) Apple and others are likely to pay hundreds of millions of dollars over the next few years in litigation and compensation for patent violations, something with the current Biden administration has said they would tackle head on internationally (China and elsewhere). It's better for Apple to be on the right side of that fight... and instead of just paying +$100M out to WiLAN (Quarterhill) as a result of the recent award by a court for Patient infringement, why not buy WiLAN for ownership of that Patient and many more? That's got to be worth more than QRTH total Market Cap?
or am i crazy?!?
