RE:RE:Patent = goooood news for HPQ et PYR. Just watch...I don't think a take-over of HPQ by PYR in the cards. With so many divisions already, PYR can be complicated for new investors to fully understand. Peter has eluded to this in the past, and I believe is the reason PYR is considering spin-outs (i.e. powder division). However in recent interview Peter indicated that PYR would still maintain a large ownership in any spinout and continue to benefit in it's success. In one sense their investmenet in HPQ could be viewed as the reverse of a spinout but with PYR still ending up in a similar position. They carry their investment in HPQ on the balance sheet as a 'strategic investment'. On the contrary, a full take-out of HPQ would further complicate the understanding of PYR's business rather than simplifying it for institutional investors. JMHO

Alothian wrote: what would happen if PYR tookover half the nano division? wouldnt that be a bad thing for us?
