McBride - malachite + calcite = copper

McBride - malachite + calcite = copper I'd like to separate the three minerals found on McBride....
if copper is present in the carbonate calcite veining = all good = but in veins = limited.  .
If copper is present in malachite = even better = host rock = more of it.
Sulphide copper - is a iron oxide copper.

What is malachite ?
green copper carbonate hydroxide mineral with a chemical composition of Cu2(CO3)(OH)2.
It was one of the first ores used to
produce copper metal. It is of minor importance today as an ore of copper because it is usually found in small quantities and can be sold for higher prices for other types

Trip down memory lane -  2018
Hawk performs some exploratory sampling on, McBride and low and behold
squares up a 2km trend of = copper.

Check it out - 2018 McBride -

_______________________________________________________________________

SIDE NOTE - GT GOLD's last dril lreuslts were - dusters
Next up for GT Gold - boom - bought out.
_______________________________________________________________________

Time advances -  2019  -  Hawk pulls the drills out and manages to perform one drill.
Now... was this really a one hit wonder - duster ?

Whar was said about this drill result ?
chargeability high, and the relative abundance of finely disseminated magnetite observed in thin section likely explains the chargeability anomaly. While no significant sulphide mineralization was intersected, no distinct porphyry-style mineralization was noted, and no noteworthy copper or gold grades were returned from the samples collected

Copper is a sulphide.
No sulphide - copper. wasfound.

Now let's back track to 2018 -
what was seen and plottred over -  2 km strike ?
calcite copper veins = carbonate copper.
malachite copper = carbonate copper.

DEFINITION FOR MALACHITE COPPER ?
Copper is widely distributed in the environment; present mainly in minerals as sulphides, oxides, or carbonates

What dfid the pres state as per copper findings ?
It stuck to - sulphide copper.
Now.. what about carbonate ( malachite + calcite = copper ? )

2/km strike of green colored malachite / carbonate copper rocks...
And... no copper found in drills - that is... no sulphide copper..
But what about - malachite carbonated = cvopper ?

Copper is a tranistional metal...
Found in sulphides or, csarbonates....
If native copper oxidizes it can tranistion to another form andend up in hues ofred oxidesor
green malachite hues. - seen in the 2018 link above - not unless my eyes decieve me,
and my color blindis kicking in... ugh.

Malachite is premium copper -  andcan be converted
into copper metal -

2km strike of malachite back in 2018 -
and suppose a 1km width....
I'll be generous i will only account for a 1m depth.

2,000 m
x 1,000 m
--------------
2,000,000 cubics
x 2.5 ore weight per cubicmeter
--------------------------
5,000,000 tonnes
x  .015% copper ( rough average - 2018 surface samples )
------------------------
75,000 surface/ tonnes ( suppose only placer reconsolodated rock )
x 2200 ( represents pounds per tonne
-------------------------
165,000,000 lbs copper
x $4 / per pound

Now =- would a junior spend lots of time on an area in 2018 -
quadron off a constraint of 2km of mineral bearing ore at surface indicating
copper values - and then...drills it in 2019 - only one hole but points out rhe sulphide
copper in drills- when on the flip side  - 2018 pointed out malachite + calcite copper.

Duster drill or ?
Is it more about defining what kind of copper it is...
2018 exploration pointed to malachite copper
2019 drills pointed to sulphide copper

Perhaps a second take on the drill cores - would be ideal.
Maybe the junior missed the sulphide vs carbonate distinction of copper.
Maybe this post will help the junior...
I like Hawkeye... hope they revisit the 2019 core - test for calcite / malachiter = copper.

Cheers....

p.s.
The surface tonnage above for malachite is only an example.
Nit, factual... only a hypothetical t osee what a surface placer copper ( carbonate )
resource could amount to.... just using a median of - 1m depth.
not to be used for investment advice... only an example.
