Schoen/Jeff... great insight. Thanks for sharing. We need more posts like Schoen's to help others, myself included, understand the true difficulty of getting a project to the point where Montalva is at. It helps investors see the value in the project instead of focusing on the daily flucuations of the share price.
I too like when Jeff explains the technical aspects of Montalva and the process it will take to get it built, such as enrolling in the RFP. That shared knowledge boosts investor confidence.
Speaking of investor confidence, and I could be wrong, but the thought crossed my mind that applying through the RFP would make a great press release. A brief explanation of the RFP process would help, including PREPA's estimated timeline for approval. Press releases are the only forms of research many casual investors read. I'm assuming with the drop in shareprice, and no press releases, some might think Montalva is in troubled waters when in reality we could be just months away from approval. I suppose we are waiting for confirmation of acceptance into the RFP before such a press release would be issued though. Just a thought.
