RE:RE:RE:News sum aryAnd pollution is more than carbon, I would agree with a lot of this. I don't like the government picking winners and losers in the private sector. Some of the LCFS makes sense: adding cost to combustion, but what you're talking about needs to be factored into the ultimate equation. Like putting wind mills in important bird areas in Ontario, some of it just doesn't make sense. The net result of turning farmed crops into diesel is more than just a measurement of tail pipe emissions.

In reality there is no ethical way to reduce pollution other than to reduce consumption and no politician who wants to keep their job will suggest that inconvenience.
