RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Hot off the press...Anyone is free to buy units I suppose? Unless they have insdier info, they know as much as you and I.

End of the day, the Fund owns all  the intellectual property to operate any of SIR's restarants.  Worst case scenario SIR goes into protection, gets rid of its debts, cancels all deferred royaltes to SRV, when SIR comes out of it, they still owe a royalty to SRV when they operate the restuarnats... Could SIR renegotaite the royalty payable to SRV in order to ensure the long-term viability of SIR? Possibly, there's no precedent?  SRV would have to give something in that scenario to help SIR ourt.  A healthy SIR = a healthy SRV... It's unprecedented so who knows what would happen?

As an owner of the other restaurant trusts, I find this SRV saga very interesting. I want to see how it plays out.  That update a few years ago (to me) looked like they were preparing the market for the worst and when looking at their balance sheet I can see why.

SRV owns the IP - there is value here longer-term no doubt. My concern is a cratering share price should they announce the worst case scenario and that's why I'd rather watch from the sidelines. Best of luck to all, and to Jane!
