RE:By the way Blizzzy.... Sorry man. You started a good thing but you can't be deleting people's messages and dictating to the board, creating rules etc.
Any group is only as good as it's leadership and there was a breakdown within with how certain events were handled. It is unfortunate that it had to take place, but it started months ago with a snap decision to kick one of the better contributors instead of find an amicable solution. At the time many people requested you stop deleting messages so we could have context, you thumbed your noses at us and kept doing it suppressing the information and eliminating transparency. That form of leadership was not appreciated and it put you both in a tough situation as moderators, but it is an enviironment that developed from your actions.
if you had listened to the members of your group instead of imposing your will and values it never would have come to this. At this point the alienation of many members is beyond repair and they will not be rejoining the original discord group so that leaves us with two groups? Sounds productive, but consider what you are asking and put yourself in the shoes of someone that has been booted from the group and now has to tuck tail and rejoin to "give us another chance", when it is you that needs us to give you another chance. That tone deaf response is part of why the leadership failed and a change is due to keep something collaborative and welcoming for all.
