QEX - Some Random Thoughts

Certainly the sudden confirmation of GTT’s value at $456M, and Newmont being the buyer (and already owning 16% of QEX), turns a hot spotlight onto our Castle property. 
 
Obviously something will happen re: Castle – will QEX do the science based, targeted, deep, drilling by itself - OR - will QEX enter into a JV with someone like Newmont, or Newcrest.  Castle shares borders with property of both companies, and both companies are expanding their footprint in the GT. 
 
A JV would allow QEX to de-risk the project and not have to raise development funds.  On the other hand if you do it alone, although more risk, if/when you make the discovery, then you sell or JV it at a far higher price, but have also had to raise the funds to do it.  I expect we will start to get some answers, probably sooner rather than later.
 
And with all this ‘Castle talk’ we almost forget the two projects QEX has already announced for 2021 – development of the maiden resource definition (43-101) of KSP’s Inel and some targeted drilling/exploration at Sofia – either of which could also turn out to be a ‘game changer’ for QEX.
 
We knew 2021 would be a critical year for QEX – and it is being just that – at this SP the insiders keep buying on the market – of course it is exciting – but more than that, IT IS REAL.
