Not sure if the conveyor idea would work. I think Pure Gold's mill has a 800 tpd throughput. The Golden Giant Hemlo mine has a 500 tpd throughput, while Canadian Malartic has 55,000 tpd and Detour Gold has 60,000 tpd. With the conveyor idea, you'd have to expand the Pure Gold mill a heck of a lot. So huge expenses on the conveyor and the mill. Mine production would have to be big, in order to keep a conveyor belt working steady. No doubt both Detour Gold and Canadian Malartic have conveyor systems.
