Government trying to bring a German OEM to Canada

Government trying to bring a German OEM to CanadaI heard this morning on the radio that after the Lion Electric announcement, Quebec PM (Franois Legault) was meeting with the Canadian Minister of Innovation (Franois Philippe Champagne) to discuss other files. Mr Fitzgibbon and Mr Champagne are trying to convince a German OEM to open a factory in Canada to make EVs.

Sorry again, this interview is in French. They talk about the German OEM at 7min30sec:

Mr Fitzgibbon had 7-8 zoom meetings with foreign companies at the Davos Summit in January, was that German OEM one of them?

This is all positive for CRE, the politicians are working together to help the battery / EV sector
