RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What do you guys think @Nutrader, this time I'll copy paste part of my old post ;) Here it comes:
"My husband works in the film industry. When they started shooting back in October 2020, he got tested once a week, then a month later - twice a week and since December he has been tested for Covid 3 times a week... His production alone employs 135 people working "on set" in different departments (electrics, grips, SPFX, sound, camera, make up, set dec - to name just a few). Then there is a whole bunch working behind the scenes plus "dailies" and/or "weeklies" so people who work on the show temporarily when the original crew members are not enough because they are shooting few scenes/episodes at once. There are covid testing stations on site (...)"
What I can add is that they have nasal swabs, get results 2 hours later and there is no talk about vaccines for now. Apparently testing can vary from production to production, e.g. there is one where the employees get results within 15 mins. As for your question if retail testing will trump commercial testing revenues, I don't think it will in Canada. Uno, testing is free and dos, from what I know from the neighbours who test their kids and themselves quite often, it gets faster and better every time they do it. Might be a different story in the States: I have some close friends there whose actions and choices are mostly determined by convenience and comfort and there is so many more people who live in rural areas than here in Canada. Anyways, that's just my opinion based on personal experience, I'm curious what others have to say! Also, I wanted to say that I really like CBDT board too and as much as I appreciate the old gang I'm very happy to see so many new investors here! You guys add so much valuable contribution to this board, thank you!
