They have bought million of shares last summer from the Dutch auction and the buyback program. Suddenly, in November they stopped. The message is clear they want to buy it cheap. Don't you remember when they tried to screw investor with a 2.15 Dutch auction when they knew they were in the process of selling Viziya. The good thing was that most people didn't surrender their shares.
If you think they are good managers, would it be possible to explain why the stock has not performed for the last 10-20 years. Usually, top management generates shareholder value. The market is already telling you it doesn't give any value except for cash and upcoming cash on this company. That is a very strong statement on the perception of management credibility and competency. Bottom line, Quarterhill/Wi-Lan revolving (except for Skippen...lol) team has not delivered and unfortunately, nothing is indicating any improvements coming soon.
