I guess it depends on how you define "manager". I was referring to the management within WiLan and the management within IRD - both of which seem to be doing fine. I agree the 'management' of the corporation as a whole has been scattered at best and is my main bone of contention. I don't like their corporate direction and never have ever since they dropped the dividend and embarked on this diversification of the business quest.
Also, I was referring to management and Board members buying stock periodically (whcih they rarely if ever do) rather than the share purchase program (Dutch auction included). I agree with this and am likewise disappointed that they seem to have abandoned the NCIB. They actually had the gaul on the call to mention the NCIB as something they still have in place to add value for shareholders - THEN USE IT.
