The property covers approximately 58.6 square kilometers (km2) is part of the prolific Barberton Greenstone Belt.

With the length of time the shares have been halted today, I think you could be right.

A news release would have been prepared beforehand if Galane Gold was offering to buy one 
the two mining operations mentioned in their corporate presentation, and drill results would already have been known with a news release ready for release as well. 

I think the company was caught off guard by whatever this event is that caused them to
request the trading halt ... an unsolicited offer ..... and company execs going over the offer before making any further statements ... ???
