I don't think there is a set guidance that 1 barrel of API 35 oil will yield x amount of gas. 


what I do know is that one of the primary reasons for doing a EWT is for fluid sampling. The EWT will determine how much oil/gas comes from one unit. The other reasons for EWT to to determine a field production plan - how many wells/where to put them -, accurate reservoir size, initial pressure, boundaries, skin effects and permeability

remeber light crude oil flows a lot faster than the heavy, mid like oil. I'm not sure what everybody is worried about on the Chinook zones. The well logs are in line with the offsetting well at Barrickpore where 127MMBO reserves were discovered. I'm 99% certain the oil at Chinook is commercial - they just want to de risk it by performing a EWT.
