RE:Rare Earths in Military EquipmentThat's one of the reasons China wants to stop selling to the USA and the USA wants local or friendly allies to produce it. As it is, Chinese REE's are going into Harpoon missiles, that are sold to Taiwan, and could wipe out half an invasion fleet!
